The Barrels Are Back
It wouldn’t be an SPL season without the Bloomfield Barrels Lacrosse Club.
One of the league’s “Original Six” teams, the Barrels have won five out of their last seven lacrosse titles in Pittsburgh and they look to deepen their trophy case after SPL Season Four thanks to a cast of grizzled sixes veterans.'
The Barrels won the first ever SPL Championship and then followed it with a back-to-back performance. The lacrosse club is part of SPL lore because they have proven themselves worthy of victory and prize money, and they play every season the SPL has a league. Thank you for believing in this league.
