We have improved the Sixes Prize League. We hope you have improved your game. We are committed to bettering the player experience and making this league reach its full potential as a developmental, semi-pro lacrosse competition and TV production. Let’s run through the new rules and logistics outlined in the league updates for SPL Season 4:

  • 2 Referees

  • Increased roster size from 11 players maximum (including the goalie) to 13 players maximum (including the goalie). Teams can play a game with a minimum 6 players (including the goalie).

  • Women Can Play Full Pads Lax With The Boys

  • The goalie can cross the midfield line. One runner must stay back in the defensive zone.

  • There is now an on-field scoreboard, so players and fans can see the score.

  • 2 free agents/team if necessary. If there are enough free agents, the league will make a free agent team.

  • Death to 6 p.m. rush hour lax games. No more.
