Blax Lax Joins The Sixes Prize League in Maryland
The Sixes Prize League is proud to introduce a venerated team in Baltimore lacrosse history.
Founded by Coach Lloyd Carter, Blax Lax (@blax.lax) has been a lacrosse club for 23 years and is responsible for cultivating a lot of the lacrosse talent in inner city Baltimore. Though Coach Carter is retired, the influence from the man who was hired as the first head coach in Hampton University D1 Men’s Lacrosse history (@hupirates_lax) is still felt on this team.
With his GM cap on, Coach Carter selected a core group to compete in The Prize League, headlined by Kier Johnson II (@coachkierthepirate_).
Johnson led Hampton in goals scored in 2017, he won the Baltimore City league three times in high school, and he was honored as a National Lacrosse Association (@nlapro) player.
Johnson is also joined by a Ghana Lacrosse ( @lacrossegh ) goalie and sixes specialist from the Next Collegiate League (@ncl.lacrosse), Jason Bandoh (@bandohnut). Swiss Army knife from the Jamaica Lacrosse National Team (@jamaicalacrosse), Dean Jemar (@deanjemar) joins the roster as a free agent, along with the man from CCBC Essex (@essexknightslax) who dropped a hat trick on Onondaga— Anthony Truxon (@e3zzzzz).
Lastly, this agreement with Blax Lax would not be possible without sports management group Be More Elite (@bemoreelite), which was founded by Coach Carter’s son Lantz. Thank you!
SPL Maryland is indeed facing off this Saturday. Watch a 7-game series for prize money on live TV with a play-by-play broadcaster on Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Roku and www.SixesPrizeLeague.com.
